This demo showcases real-time drone tracking using the SO977 PTZ camera, featuring a 52× optical zoom camera, a 640×512 thermal imaging module with a 50mm lens, and an integrated AI processing module.

Designed for demanding real-world security scenarios such as critical infrastructure protection, border surveillance, and perimeter defense, the system is optimized for long-range small-target tracking, where drones remain only a few pixels in size even at extended distances.

Its high-precision positioning system and smooth, responsive pan-tilt control ensure stable tracking performance under extreme optical zoom, maintaining reliable target lock even during fast or unpredictable drone movements.

By embedding AI detection and tracking directly into the camera, the system enables faster target recognition, reduced false alarms, and more autonomous operation in complex environments. This shifts PTZ cameras from passive observation tools to active, intelligent sensing systems capable of real-time decision support.
